I won't really miss him, he was too uptight for my liking. I'd rather have Miranda from ME2 and Thane, if possible.

In my case, I found Liara and Kaidan hitting on me just too pushy to be comfortable, so having Ash around was a relief. Plus she usually had these bad jokes at hand :D
